Apach-o-maticLIVE IM BLAU VOL. 3Eine einzigartige Reihe findet ihre wohlverdiente Fortsetzung:
Die Live im Blau Compilation, die seit 2011 jährlich erscheint und all die unterschiedlichen Konzerte dokumentiert, die im Herzen des Jungbuschs veranstaltet werden, im Café Blau in der Jungbuschstrasse 14, wird auch im Jahr 2013 veröffentlicht.
Das Café Blau ist eine kleine verrauchte Kneipe, die sich 100%ig der handgemachten Rock´n´Roll Kultur verschrieben hat. Und Musik zelebrieren kann man am besten auf der Bühne. Seit über 15 Jahren gastieren die unterschiedlichsten Bands aus aller Herren Länder im Blau und verwandeln die kleine Kneipe in einen grandiosen Ort voller Psychedelik, Magie, Kitsch, Lärm, Dreck, Obsession, Schweiß und Leidenschaft.
Underground Kultur ist niemals perfekt, glatt, spießig und angepasst. Sie pulsiert euphorisch, manisch und hysterisch in alle Richtungen. Auch Krach ist Ausdruck.
Wärhrend die ersten zwei “Live im Blau” Sampler reine Multi-Stereoaufnahmen waren und sogar ohne Mischpult augenommen worden sind (!), wurde im Früh-Sommer des vergangenenJahres ein heiss ersehntes Mackie-Mischpult angeschafft, mit der man erstmalig in der Lage ist, Multitrackaufnahmen zu erstellen.
Seit Ende 2009 werden alle Konzerte von Ruben Mesado Estrada (Mes Music & Ekcentrik) live mitgeschnitten und im Ekcentrik Studio bearbeitet und gemischt. Der neue Sampler wird diesmal übrigens von dem in Barcelona lebenden Franzosen Yves Roussel gemastert, der eine Viezahl der spanischen Major und Indie Produktionen tontechnisch veredelt.
und der Beauftragten für Musik- und Popkultur, Beril Yilmam und dem Veranstaltungscafé BLAU.
Der Tonträger erscheint Ende 2013 als Gratis-Edition des Mannheimer Labels Mes Music (www.mesmusic.org) und wird auf diversen Internetportalen vorgestellt und vertrieben.

The “lo-fi” chic of “Live im Blau” is far from first-class entertainment and that‘s
exactly what creates the cult of this astonishing underground live compilation
which boils down to two messages:
Live music is cool and underground music is great.
You´re holding the third compilation in your hand and I must admit:
The third time is the charm! I´m really happy to present you sixteen tracks by
sixteen different artists recorded live during twelve months of 2012.
On the other hand we are really shocked of the sad death of Almut Klotz who died in August 15, 2013. Almut was a musician, singer and writer. She was founding member of the „Lassie Singers“ in 1988 and took an important part in the Germanspeaking Riot-Grrrl movement.
For “Live im Blau Vol. 2” she contributed the wonderful song “Tausendschön” from the concert she performed with her last project “klotz+dabeler” at Blau in 2011.
Thank you so much for this. You will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, Almut.
